The study of guitar encompasses two main aims. Firstly, learning basic technique in a relaxed and healthy way and, secondly, adding style and character to your playing. Some of this breaks the usual music teachers 'rules' but it gives you the tools essential for creating a performance rather than just letting what happens happen or blindly copying someone else's style.
